These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the AEOthis website (aeothis.com) and any services provided by 2191584 Alberta Inc., operating as AEOthis ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
AEOthis provides Answer Engine Optimization services designed to improve your business's visibility in AI-powered search and recommendation platforms. Our services include:

As a client, you agree to:
Content we create for your business belongs to you. This includes:
You retain full ownership of all content and profiles. If our engagement ends, everything stays with you.
Our proprietary methodologies, analysis tools, internal processes, and the AEOthis brand remain our intellectual property.
Our standard service is $300 CAD per month with a three-month minimum commitment. Payment terms are outlined in your service agreement. Late payments may result in a pause of active work until the account is current.
When you grant us access to your website platform (Shopify, WordPress, Wix, GoDaddy, or similar), we use that access solely to implement the AEO optimizations agreed upon during onboarding. We will not modify content outside the agreed scope without your approval. You may revoke our access at any time through your platform's user management settings.
The email alias you create (e.g. aeo@yourdomain.com) is used exclusively to set up third-party profiles and directory listings on your behalf. All accounts created with this alias belong to you. We will not use this alias for any purpose outside of the agreed service scope.
AI recommendation platforms (including but not limited to ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude) are operated by third parties. We optimize your visibility using proven methods, but we cannot guarantee specific rankings, mention rates, or recommendation placements. AI platform algorithms change frequently and are outside our control.
We provide regular progress reports so you can track measurable improvements over time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AEOthis (2191584 Alberta Inc.) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
Either party may terminate the service engagement with 30 days' written notice after the initial three-month commitment period. Upon termination:
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
